When I first believed.

As I sit here today reflecting on my life's journey, I am reminded of the numberless blessings that God has bestowed to me and the great life lessons I have got to learn that have shaped me to who I am today. Born in an adventist family, I was raised by my grandmother (to whom I shower all my blessings), who instilled in me great values that I will forever be grateful for including but not limited to faith, love, patience, humility, kindness, integrity,compassion, among others. Mungu ana mipango mizuri kwa kila binadamu translated to God has a good plan for everyone , were my grandmother's words that have been imprinted in my memory since my formative years. A Dream Come True.

Hello and welcome - Karibu sana . For as long as I can remember, writing has always been something that I have longed to start but have never done so. Hayawi hayawi huwa-  a swahili adage meaning something will finally happen even after a significant wait, has encouraged me through the time that the right time will eventually present itself, and I will be able to pour down my heart into words through ink and paper or so I think. Today, that long awaited day is here. I couldn't be more excited to share this journey with you. I am excited that I am finally doing something that I find pleasure in despite some form of nervousness. I am super excited that I will be able to share my experiences, thoughts, and stories that have molded me to be who I am today with you. I sincerely cannot remember how many times I have postponed this. Might be due to laziness, procrastination, school commitments, church, and various what if's like "What if it won't be a good enough read?" ...
