Hello and welcome -Karibu sana.
to start but have never done so. Hayawi hayawi huwa- a swahili adage meaning something will finally happen even after a significant wait, has encouraged me through the time that the right time will eventually present itself, and I will be able to pour down my heart into words through ink and paper or so I think.
Today, that long awaited day is here. I couldn't be more excited to share this journey with you. I am excited that I am finally doing something that I find pleasure in despite some form of nervousness. I am super excited that I will be able to share my experiences, thoughts, and stories that have molded me to be who I am today with you. I sincerely cannot remember how many times I have postponed this. Might be due to laziness, procrastination, school commitments, church, and various what if's like "What if it won't be a good
enough read?" Based on what people deem as worth a
read, has always echoed loudly at the back of my mind and almost threw me down. Good news๐, amidst all these, there is a voice that has stood the test of time, firmly encouraging me again and again that Faith, you can for sure do this because, why not? You only need to start. I am glad that the desire never vanished away. I believe this is going to be an incredible journey with a lot to learning, unlearning, and relearning.
I am hereby creating this safe space where we can explore this greatest
treasure called life together. It has highs( like landing in a dream job and acing those exams after late night and early morning study sessions) and lows (like saying goodbye or losing the people we genuinely cared for) but that is what makes it balanced. Through this blog I will explore and celebrate safari ya maisha (the journey of life). We will get
an opportunity to grow at personal level, spiritually, mentally, and even physically, learn on how to develop gratitude even for the minutest things and in all circumstances. Many a times you will encounter phrases of Swahili, Ekegusii, Dholuo, French, Spanish (languages that I hold dearly to my heart).
To everyone who has encouraged me knowingly and unknowingly, receive my heartfelt gratitude. And to you, my reader, thank you for being here to read my work. Without your presence, I could not
be here writing. I hope you find inspiration to chase your own "Hayawi hayawi huwa" dreams, despite of the time they have been on hold. Feel free to leave comments and feedback on what I should do better, and what resonates with you so that we can learn from our unique stories. I am persuaded that God's grace will lead us all the way, which leads me to one of my favorite hymn 516. "All the way our Savior leads us, what have we to ask beside, can we doubt His tender mercy who through life has been our guide? Whatever befalls us, Jesus leads us all the way and doeth all things well." Let's make this journey unforgettable!๐ Shalom and welcome once again!
This is great Faith! I’m a fan, and looking forward to reading your next blog!

Writing can be such an emotional activity. The very act of opening up inakuanika to scructiny and a sense of vulnerability. It takes immense courage to share thoughts and ideas. I believe it is a very human activity that has helped many copy with a tumultuous world. Only courageous people have risen up to the task. It is indeed a feet few embrace. Kudos
